The Smart Desktop AI Companion Robot Project is an integrated solution for home and desktop office scenarios, integrating AI large model capabilities, multimodal perception, bionic actions, and emotional interaction technology to create a physical AI partner that can be placed on the desktop. The product is equipped with voice recognition, sound source localization, and visual perception modules, capable of capturing user voice commands, recognizing human position and emotional states, and, combined with movable heads and emoji screens, enables anthropomorphic interaction, breaking away from traditional AI interaction limited to text chat boxes. The robot combines emotional companionship and practical assistant functions. In leisure time, it can chat and interact with users, share interesting stories, play music, sense user emotions, and provide warm responses; In work and study scenarios, it can set schedule reminders, record to-do items, answer knowledge questions, assist with copywriting, and support linkage with smart home devices, voice control of lighting, sockets, and other terminals. The project completed embedded firmware development, mobile supporting app development, cloud AI interaction service setup, and hardware structure debugging, enabling data interoperability between the robot and mobile devices. Users can customize robot personalities, voice tones, and reminder rules within the app, view interaction records, and complete firmware upgrades. During project development, noise reduction algorithms, motion damping, and human-machine safety mechanisms were optimized for desktop usage scenarios, balancing fun and stability, suitable for home companionship, desktop office work, and youth study and supervision.
